Our ResidentsWe believe that our residents are impressive, representing a group of bright, diverse, motivated physicians. All our residents complete scholarship and quality improvement projects, and many have been published in the New England Journal of Medicine and other prestigious journals. They regularly win prizes at poster presentations and participate other scholarly activities. Our residents also win awards within the health system – a recent ‘Catch A Star’ Employee Recognition citation at Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital and Medical Center noted “All the medicine residents rock…”
Residents also have research opportunities available through Legacy Research. Our residents have been very successful in obtaining competitive fellowships, and are paired with a faculty advisor from the very beginning of their internship to facilitate their career goals.
